
In an article titled "For-profit exposed" published in AFT On Campus [AFT: American Federation of Teachers], serious problems of pro-fit colleges have been discussed and shocking findings presented.
This study is based on a two-year long investigation by the Senate Health, education, Labor and Pensions Committee of the for-profit higher education industry. The photo in the article shows Senator Tom Harkin, holding the four-thick-volume report, who is chair of the Committee, for the "overwhelming documentation."
Here are two of the key findings:
If only the government VIPs would handle finance as if within their own families, many illogical spending could have been avoided. What an unfair distribution of tax-payers' money!
